Notice of Changes in Representative Director and Executive Management

Anti-Cancer Technologies Inc. today announces a change in its executive leadership, approved at its General Meeting of Shareholders on October 1, 2026. Founder Teruyasu Nishino stepped down from his role as Representative Director at the conclusion of the meeting. Hiroyuki Ochi has been appointed as the new Representative Director, effective the same day. Following the transition, Dr. Nishino will remain actively involved as a major shareholder, continuing to support the company’s vision and long-term growth.

Message from Founder Teruyasu Nishino

Our company was founded on the potential of PPAT inhibitors—pioneered in Professor Keiichi Nakayama’s laboratory at Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Medical and Dental University)—with a mission to deliver novel therapeutics for high-met-need cancers, including small cell lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. As a practicing physician, my guiding conviction has always been to find answers for patients who currently have none. Since launching in 2023, thanks to the steadfast support of our shareholders, research partners, and key stakeholders, our lead PPAT inhibitor candidate has successfully advanced into preclinical evaluation, reaching a critical inflection point. To accelerate our drug discovery and development pipeline, I chose to pass the torch to a seasoned industry leader with deep commercial expertise, a decision officially approved at today’s shareholders’ meeting. Our incoming Representative Director, Hiroyuki Ochi, brings a proven track record of executive leadership in pharmaceutical business development and organizational scaling. Most recently, he joined a regenerative medicine program during its initial development phase, building the commercialization framework from the ground up and steering the product all the way through launch readiness. I have complete confidence in Mr. Ochi’s ability not only to advance innovative therapies through the pipeline, but to actually bring them to market and into the hands of patients. Going forward, I will fully support Mr. Ochi and our leadership team as a dedicated shareholder. I deeply appreciate your continued guidance and partnership as we enter this next chapter.

Message from Hiroyuki Ochi, Newly Appointed Representative Director

I am Hiroyuki Ochi, and I am honored to have been appointed Representative Director of Anti-Cancer Technologies, Inc. I am committed to carrying forward the vision of our founder, Dr. Teruyasu Nishino, who has dedicated himself to the mission of “saving patients who cannot be saved by today’s medicine.” Drawing on my experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries, I will work to further advance our drug discovery programs. I believe that the most important aspect of drug discovery is not simply generating outstanding scientific breakthroughs, but also bringing those discoveries to patients as quickly as possible and translating them into meaningful value for healthcare. Anti-Cancer Technologies has the potential to develop novel therapies for difficult-to-treat cancers, based on research achievements by Professor Keiichi Nakayama of the Institute of Science Tokyo. Our immediate goal is to deliver new treatment options for patients with difficult-to-treat cancers, including small cell lung cancer, as quickly as possible. To achieve this, we will work closely with researchers, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, as well as our shareholders and partners, and devote our full efforts to translating our scientific discoveries into practical medicines. Toward the realization of a future in which difficult-to-treat cancers can be overcome, we sincerely hope that you will look forward to the next chapter of Anti-Cancer Technologies and its new challenges.
